We have several outstanding private golf courses locally, which offer rounds of golf to the public and these can be easily arranged for you and your party at your convenience.

A wide selection of restaurants and pubs are on offer in the area and we would be very pleased to recommend some favourites. Pretty villages with historical interest are close by, such as Chenies Manor House (presented as a wedding gift by Queen Edith, wife of our last Saxon king, in the 12^th. Century) . This is open to the public (check website for details).

Chiltern Open Air Museum (& some) are a favourite with the children, as is the Queen Victoria’s Dolls House at Windsor Castle .  Black Park which is famous for it’s Beech Woods and filmsettings used by Pinewood Studios.

Thorpe Park

 Ancient towns such as Amersham, Chesham, or Chalfont St. Giles, home to Milton ’s Cottage, St. Albans , the famous Roman town and its theatre and museum.  Jordans village contains the meeting house and burial ground of well known Quakers, such as William Penn, founder of Pennsylvania, These are just a few of the many interesting places to see, that is before you venture into the Capital itself….
